Avi Dor, a resident of Tiberias, claims he was told not to write comments against Tiberias Mayor Zohar Oved on his Facebook wall for 15 days, during police questioning on suspicion of threats against the mayor. A few days earlier Eitan Oved, a Tiberias municipality member, was also questioned after writing an unfavourable status on Facebook about the mayor.

An indictment was submitted to the Nazareth Magistrate’s Court against Tiberias’ Mayor Zohar Oved, and against Avner Sharon, CEO of a data recovery and software development company. According to the indictment, they conspired to infiltrate into the computer of Benny Eliyahu, the city comptroller, in order to trace files.
