Six 14 year old Israeli teenagers studying at the Kochav Ha-Shachar yeshiva in [West Bank area] Binyamin threw stones at passing cars in the area.  The boys inadvertently struck an Israeli car and were subsequently arrested.

A yeshiva student, 24, from Jerusalem, who serves in the IDF, is suspected of armed robbery of a store in the Ramat Eshkol neighborhood, using an M-16 assault rifle, stolen from a base in the area.

Even though the Labor party promised it will fight against funds dedicated to yeshiva students, over half of its MKs voted for (Hebrew) the new budget during its first reading, despite the fact that included those funds. The party claims that “without specific legislation, this is an inoperative law due to the Supreme Court’s decision. These funds are unreachable and, budget-wise, are meaningless”.
