According to Palestinian sources, Jews set fire to a Palestinian tent encampment near Suseya in the South Hebron Hills last night (Sep. 8). One of the inhabitants sustained light injuries. This was apparently a “Price Tag” attack intended as a response to the demolition by the military of three houses in the illegal outpost of Migron.

The UN Office for Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA)’s weekly Protection of Civillians Report claims Israel demolished 13 Palestinian-owned structures in Suseya in the Hebron governorate due to lack of building permits. Additionally, a residential tent and an animal shelter were demolished in the village of Umm Salamuna in the Bethlehem governorate after demolition orders were issued. Furthermore, Israel issued orders to halt construction on residential structures belonging to 50 Bedouin families living in the vicinity of Al ‘Eizariya in the Jerusalem governorate. Israeli forces also uprooted tens of saplings belonging to Palestinians in An Nabi Samwil in the Jerusalem governorate.
