Increasing numbers of landlords in South Tel Aviv are refusing to rent out their apartments to migrant laborers. According to realtor Yaakov Lalamayov, “migrant laborers now find it much harder to find apartments for rent in the neighborhood, especially Sudanese ones. The neighborhood today has many property owners who are only prepared to rent to Israelis.”
