A teenager who participated in a J14 protest in Tel Aviv reported that a policeman kicked him in the stomach and cursed him. The incident happened after he left the group of protesters.

Police detectives were filmed beating Yaakov Hazan, a Netanya resident who was suspect of drug possession, allegedly without any actions on his behalf. According to Hazan, although a complaint was filed to the Internal Affairs Department against the detectives, in the seven months following the complaint, he was not even contacted in order to give testimony on the events.

The Israeli Prison Service parole committee decided to cut the sentence of police officer Shachar Mizrahi, who shot and killed Mahmud Gnaim, when the latter tried to steal a vehicle. Mizrahi was charged and convicted of manslaughter, and sentenced (after appealing to the Supreme Court) to 30 months in prison. He will be released in April 2012, instead of February 2013.

The Internal Affairs department recieved a complaint about the violent behaviour of three police officers from the Petah Tikva police station against a man involved in a car accident. The man claims the three officers beat him with a wooden club, kicked him and then shocked him with a taser. The complaint also claims that the officers tried to cover their actions.

A man claims that police officers from the Kiryat-Shmona station attacked him after he filmed them checking his license.  The officers are documented trying to prevent the man, Ido Chen, from filming.  Following the license check Chen was taken to the station house where according to him he was beaten and subsequently charged with attacking a police officer.  In addition, Chen claims that the officers tried to erase the video from his cellular phone.
