MK Michael Ben-Ari (National Union) published a message to IDF soldiers participating in operation “Pillar of Cloud” on his facebook page: “Our Brothers! Beloved soldiers and commanders – take care! Don’t care about Goldstone! It is possible that within hours you will enter Gaza to crush the head of the monster. Please, we are waiting to hug you back home, don’t pay attention to Goldstone. There are no innocents in Gaza, don’t let any diplomats trying to look good in the eyes of the World risk your lives. At the slightest risk to your lives, destroy”.

Member of Knesset who participated in a violent demonstration against foreign nationals held in HaTikva neighborhood of Tel-Aviv-Yafo expressed understanding of the violence committed by local residents against foreigners. MK Michael Ben-Ari (National Union) even claimed that the children of foreign nationals might be infected with dangerous diseases.

Foreigners and left wing activists were assaulted during a demonstration demanding the expulsion of foreigners held at the Tel-Aviv-Yafo neighborhood of HaTikva. In addition, the headlights and windows of a vehicle in which foreign nationals were driving were smashed, as well as the windows of stores owned by asylum seekers. During the demonstration speeches were made by members of Knesset Danny Danon (Likud), Miri Regev (Likuds), and Michael Ben-Ari (National Union).

The Courts’ Administration Legal Adviser, Attorney Barak Lazer, is demanding an investigation into the allegation that MK Michael Ben-Ari (Nationl Union) is responsible for posting posters throughout Jerusalem, in which Supreme Court Justices appear wearing keffiyehs with the wording “If there is no loyalty, there is no justice”.

In a conference titled “conclusions from the Holocaust” organized by the “Holocaust Lessons Caucus,” led by National Union MK Michael Ben-Ari, left-wing activists were compared to kapos – Jewish collaborators with the Nazis, and anarchists were described as Nazis. In addition to MK Ben-Ari, the discussion was attended by MK Aryeh Eldad (National Union), Yonatan Yosef, speaker of the Jewish settlement in Sheikh Jarrah, David Bedein, and Rabbi Yisrael Ariel, head of the Temple Institute.
