Palestinians from the village of Yatma on the West Bank claim that Jewish settlers cut down 30 olive trees near their village. These acts are probably in response to the evacuation of the Gal Aryeh, Gal Yoseph, and Mitzpe Avichai outposts.

Settlers set fire to three vehicles, sprayed grafitti on a mosque and shattered vases and tiles in a plant nursery in the Palestinian village of Deir Istiya. In Jalazun settlers broke a tractor’s window and threw stones and Molotov cocktails towards the village houses; one Palestinian was hurt. Settlers also threw stones at Palestinian vehicles in the Shilo area; one Palestinian was wounded and several vechicles damaged. These acts are claimed to be in response to the evacuation of Gal Aryeh, Gal Yoseph, and Mitzpe Avichai outposts.

A young woman claims a Border Police soldier sexually molested her during the evacuation of Mitzpe Avichai outpost. She said “the policeman grabbed my legs, then put his hand under my skirt and touched me. A few minutes later he shoved me forcefully into a jeep. I was shocked.”

A resident of the illegal settlement of Mitzpe Avichai, who was arrested for allegedly throwing stones on Palestinian houses, and a Haifa resident, who was arrested during a protest demonstration following the Itamar terror attack, were ordered to be restrained from any public gathering, until completion of proceedings against them.
