Salah Amarin, A 15-year-old Palestinian, was critically injured by IDF fire in A’ida refugee camp near Bethlehem. The boy, a resident of nearby refugee camp Al ‘Aza, was shot in the head and transferred to hospital.

Police: May 27, 2011
A 15.5-years-old Palestinian of Issawiya, who was arrested by Jerusalem police on May 15, was taken shortly after his arrest to Hadassah Hospital. The boy suffered a skull fracture, abdominal rupture and serious injuries in his legs and arms. The boy said he was beaten by the police officers who caught him, which was confirmed by eyewitnesses. Police say he was hit by one shot of a paintball, and then he fell down and was hurt. The minor’s parents received information about his whereabouts only after 26 hours.

Some three months ago in the West Bank village of Nabi Salih, “A.D.” a 14-year-old Palestinian, was arrested in the middle of the night and interrogated about a demonstration in which he took part. The minor’s parents were not present and he did not have a possibility of consulting an attorney.
