The Mehina Lechaim project, which aims to incorporate graduates of pre-army training programs and Hesder yeshivas [?] in the police force, was held in illegally constructed buildings in the Tzofit outpost, in violation of police regulations which forbid the housing and training of police officers in buildings constructed without permits.

Nahi Eyal, director general of the National Union party and director of the Legal Forum for the Land of Israel has founded a program, called “Mehina Lechaim”,  aimed at encouraging graduates of pre-army training programs and hesder yeshivas to join the police force in order to place them in key positions in the force and prevent the evacuation of settlements and outposts.
