A Palestinian was killed and 10 injured from IDF fire near the Gaza border fence east of Khan Yunis.  Anwar Qudaih was shot in the head after approaching the border fence, an area declared by the IDF as a security buffer zone off-limits to civilians.  His relative said that Qudaih tried to place a Hamas flag on the fence, and that the soldiers fired three shots in the air before shooting and killing him.
