Aviad Shai, who this week left his position as the advisor to the Minister of Finance, will be the personal assistant to Mrs. Zehavit Cohen, CEO of the VC Apax Partners, and Chairperson of Tenuvah, the biggest Israeli food corporation, after being exempted from the cooling-off period.

Former Income Tax commissioner, Tali Yaron-Eldar, was convicted under a plea bargain, that she represented taxpayers in front of Income Tax Authority, after her role with the Authority has ended. This is in contrast to the law that determines a cooling-off period for state officials.
