Palestinians report that a resident of a Gaza refugee camp was killed by IDF fire at his house. Two other people were wounded. The IDF spokesperson said that soldiers on a routine mission in the area heard an explosion nearby and fired at several suspicious spots in response. The spokeperson further stated that IDF knows of no persons hit as a result.

An Air Force fighter pilot fired a missile into a street in downtown Gaza, killing Mu’ataz Karika, his two year old son, and his brother. According to the IDF Spokesperson, Karika served as the operations officer of the “Islamic Jihad.” A number of bystanders were also injured. In addition, the IDF bombed the sewage treatment facility located in the northern part of the Nuseirat refugee camp, and the “Al-Salam” sports club in Beit Lahiya.
