Arab students were forced to stand to honor an Israeli memorial day ceremony at Western Galilee College in Northern Israel. The college dean confirmed that ” It is true that we wetted the benches [to prevent them from sitting] and will do the same in future years.”

Rabbi Yaakov Yosef, the rabbi of Givat Moshe neighborhood of Jerusalem, was invited to attend the ceremony for the new Jerusalem District police Commander, Niso Shacham, who replaces commander Aharon Franko. Rabbi Yosef is wanted for questioning because of his endorsement of the book “The Torah of the King”, which lists Halachic Laws regarding killing of Gentiles. The incoming commander, Niso Shacham, sent a formal invitation to the ceremony to Rabbi Yosef .
