Commander of the IDF’s Judea Brigade, Col. Avi Balut, prohibited the construction of an additional floor at the home of the brothers Bassam and Mohammed Jabri on Wadi al-Nasara street in Hebron, even though civil administration in the street is in the hands of Palestinians according to the Hebron Agreement. Due to the prohibition, the family cannot perform needed renovations, even though there is a danger of collapse and electorcution.

Ramat-HaNegev Regional Council has issued stop-work and demolition orders against infrastructure work for the tent city being built in the south to house thousands of asylum seekers.  Head of Council Shmulik Rifman said that “the work started as a result of improper conduct by the Ministry of Defense, which started the work without the proper permits, and therefore we issued the demolition order.”

The Ministry of Defense and the settlers of the Al-Matan outpost have reached (Hebrew) a settlement, according to which the settlers will seal the local synagogue, which was built in defiance of the law, and in return the state will approve the licensing process of the synagogue.
