According to Israeli activists, Israelis and Palestinians were attacked by settlers near the settlement of Anatot in the West Bank, North of Ma’ale Edummim [near Jerusalem]. The activists had come to accompany a Palestinian land owner in planting trees when a large group of settlers attacked them. According to the activists, the land owner’s skull was fractured and his wife was attacked as well. The two were hospitalized, as well as three activists. The activists claim that police officers present did nothing during the attack. The police arrested three activists, but did not arrest any of the settlers. According to the activists, some of their assailants wore police shirts and carried service pistols (Hebrew source).
