The Internal Affairs and Environment Committee (of the Knesset, the Israeli parliament) today approved a new bill for 2nd and 3rd reading. The bill, proposed by Knesset members David Rotem and Robert Ilatov (Yisrael Beitenu), which gives the court the authority to revoke citizenship of anybody convicted in treason, in aid to the enemy at a time of war, or in spying.
