Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman was responsible for the reform which made the National Roads Company a government company. After the reform, a friend of Lieberman’s, Alex Wiznitzer, was chosen as general manager of the company without a public request for applications, and several figures close to Lieberman were chosen to work for the company, including Atty. Yoav Mani, once nicknamed “Yisrael Beitenu’s strategic manager”.
