The Attorney General has decided to close the criminal investigation against the authors of “The King’s Torah”, Rabbis Yitzhak Shapira and Yosef Yirmiyahu, and against the book’s endorsers, Rabbis Dov Lior and Yitzhak Ginzburg.

Author of the book “Torah of the King” and head of “Od Yosef Chai” Yeshiva in the settlement Yitzhar, Yitzhak Shapira, will attend the conference organized by the Faculty of Humanities at the University of Haifa, in which there will be a session about the book. This book discusses cases in which, according to some interpretations of the Halacha, it is permitted to kill the Gentiles.

Closed Society: August 16, 2011
A conference by the group “Pisgat Zeev is Jewish” was held in the Chabad synagogue in the Jerusalem Pisgat Ze’ev neighborhood. Yitzhak Shapira, author of “The Torah of the King”, attended the conference. Among other topics, the conference discussed romantic relationships between Jews and Arabs, the danger of building an Arab school nearby, and ways to prevent the Light Rail from travelling through Palestinian neighborhoods.

Rabbi Yitzhak Shapira, one of the authors of “The King’s Torah”, called on IDF soldiers in a letter to “be vigilant and open their eyes if someone attacks or seduces Jewish girls”. According to Shapira, “when you’re at home — you are not on leave; at home you are on a battlefield”.
