Attorney General, Yehuda Weinstein, decided to indict Foreign Minister, Avigdor Lieberman (Yisrael Beitenu), on charges of breach of trust and fraud. The charges say Lieberman promoted former ambassador to Belarus Ze’ev Ben Aryeh without reporting that Ben Aryeh had tipped him off about the investigation being conducted against him in Belarus. At the same time, Weinstein decided to close the main case against Lieberman, in which he was alleged to have been involved in money laundering, fraud, and breach of trust. Lieberman was suspected of receiving millions of dollars from international tycoons such as Martin Schlaff and Mikhail Chernoy through foreign front companies while he was serving in public positions. Chairman of the Knesset’s Constitution, Law and Justice Committee, MK David Rotem (Yisrael Beitenu), has asked the Central Elections Committee to bar Arab party Balad from the forthcoming elections to the 19th Knesset. MKs Michael Ben-Ari and Aryeh Eldad (Otzma LeYisrael) asked to bar both Balad and Ra’am-Ta’al, another Arab party, while MK Ofir Akunis (Likud) has asked that MK Hanin Zo’abi (Balad) be disqualified as a candidate. Minister of Internal Security, Yitzhak Aharonovich (Yisrael Beitenu), decided that police undercover units posing as Arabs will only be used against Arabs, and will no longer be used in law enforcement operations against Jews.

The official Facebook page of the Israel Beitenu party published a short story in Russian titled “Analogy” which compares all Palestinians, including children, to rabid dogs that should be shot. The writer clearly believes that all Palestinians are terrorists.

During a meeting of the Knesset’s Committee for the Advancement of Women, MK Anastassia Michaeli (Yisrael Beitenu) said: ”When I turn on Channel 10 I see entertainment programs supposedly showing how nice it is to be gay. Why should my children have to hear how fun and nice it is to wear a dress and put on makeup? Why does Channel 10 broadcast such programs?” She further said that ”most gay people suffered sexual trauma at a young age and commit suicide at 40.” (Haaretz)
