Assaf Yekutieli, a policeman charged with abandoning a wounded Palestinian on the side of a road leading to his death, was investigated last week in the internal investigations departmnet regarding charges that he obstructed justice by harassing one of the main witnesses in the trial.

Judiciary: December 29, 2011
The Be’er Sheva District Court Judge Eliyahu Bitan sentenced four former Border Police officers, convicted of aggravated assault against six Bedouins who lived in Eilat, to community service and probation. The judge explained that border police officers should be treated like soldiers rather than police officers.

Attorney General Yehuda Weinstein has decided after 15 years of investigation to Attorney General to file an indictment against Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman, subject to a hearing, for crimes of fraud, breach of trust, obtaining something through deceit, money-laundering and witness harassment.
