The Galilee Development Authority published a call, on its website, to join a founding group for the “Im Tirzu” movement, in Nazareth Illit. The website states that “Nazareth Illit has been in recent years suffering negative migration of Jewish population, and thus also losing its Jewish Zionist spirit”. The specific post was later removed from the website.
Closed Society: 6 January, 2011
Websites of political organizations, both left- and right-wing, were blocked for viewing at the Ben Gurion Airport. The sites are blocked by a filtering company that classifies them as “dangerous”. Among blocked sites: Breaking the Silence, MachsomWatch, Peace Now, Ta’ayosh, the Eretz Yisrael Preservation Forum, and the Land Salvage Headquarters. (Hebrew)
