The Civil Administration has issued a demolition order for a taboun oven belonging to Bedouins living in Umm Al-Heir, in South Hebron Mountain. The taboun serves 12 families which live at that location, and the Civil Administration’s action was taken after a long campaign of pressure on behalf of residents of the nearby settlement, “Carmel”. The Israeli military delayed the entry into Israel of Palestinian children from Umm Al-Heir in South Hebron (Hebrew). The children were supposed to take part in the Children and Youth Film Festival at the Tel Aviv Cinematheque. In protests, the group left the check-point. According to the Liaison For Government Actions in the [Occupied Palestinian] Territories, the delay took no longer than ten minutes.
