Nazareth Illit mayor Shimon Gapso demanded the removal of Russian language signs hung in the city, claiming that they are missionary in nature and are offensive to the Jewish public.

Tel Aviv Religious Council published a collection of Halachic rulings, aimed to answer questions regarding migrant workers and refugees. Among the questions: Is it permissible to eat a dish prepared by a migrant worker, can one eat from a pot from which a migrant worker ate, and is it required to purify a kitchen utensil in the Mikveh, in case a migrant worker touched it.
