A complaint has been filed with the Justice Ministry’s Police Investigations Department against a police man from Tel-Aviv district who is suspected of using a tazer against a detainee at the Bat-Yam police station, while the detainee, who suffers from mental illness, was handcuffed and hiding behind an investigator in one of the station’s rooms.

Nimrod Fieldman claims that he was detained for questioning by a police officer in whose actions he expressed an interest.  According to him, the officer, together with other officers, beat him, electrocuted him with a tazer, and framed him for assaulting a police officer.

Police officers arrived at a school in Ramat-Gan over the weekend following complaints of noise, and tazed a teenager, who fled from the scene with his friends.

A police officer from the Ayalon District was taken in for questioning by the Internal Affairs Division, on suspicion of involvement in several cases of abusing detainees using a stun gun.
