The commanding officer of battalion 74 of the tank corps, Lt. Col. Muli Cohen, was removed from his post because he gave a false report to his superiors following an incident in which one of his soldiers was left behind after an operation in the village of Budrus in the West Bank.

Lt. A., who served as a deputy company commander in Battalion 74 of the tank corps, a company in which abuse of soldiers was exposed, was convicted (Hebrew) of conduct unbecoming an officer, will spend 21 days performing work for the army, and will be demoted to 2nd Lt. The officer twisted the arm of one of his soldiers, and kicked him in the ribs.
