Last Saturday, IDF forces were filmed firing tear gas and throwing stun grenades towards Palestinian homes in Nabi Saleh in the middle of the night. The IDF Spokesman responded that “at the time of the described event, tires were set on fire near Nabi Saleh, and a roadblock made of stones was set on a nearby road”.

Adalah – The Legal Center for Arab Minority Rights in Israel filed a complaint with the Police Investigation Unit (PIU), on behalf of a number of protesters who participated in the events of Nakba Day in Majdal Shams, who argued that many police officers acted violently against them. The complaint, drafted by the Attorney Orna Cohen of Adalah, lists several cases of throwing stun grenades and tear gas on protesters, kicking and punching the faces of protesters, throwing a demonstrator on horse manure, and spraying pepper spray at the face of a demonstrator from close range.
