Following a petition filed by Palestinians demanding the demolition of four structures built in the outpost of Sde Boaz without permits, as well as an access road which was built on their land, the Gush Etzion Regional Council submitted a false afidavit to the High Court, claiming that the illegal structures were already inhabited, and therefore a stop work order could not be issued by the court. Ramat-HaNegev Regional Council has issued stop-work and demolition orders against infrastructure work for the tent city being built in the south to house thousands of asylum seekers.  Head of Council Shmulik Rifman said that “the work started as a result of improper conduct by the Ministry of Defense, which started the work without the proper permits, and therefore we issued the demolition order.”
