Sterna Drukman, wife of Kiryat Motzkin Chief Rabbi Meir Drukman, was one of the women who signed the “rabbis’ wives letter”, asking Jewish women not to work in places employing Arabs and to refrain from dating them. In an interview, Drukman said “everyone understands that assimilation is similar to a spiritual holocaust”. Drukman further said that “it’s no secret that the Arab young men excel in courting. They don’t appear before the Jewish women in kaffiyehs, but come dressed as Europeans, nice and charming. They usually win the hearts of easily-seduced, flighty women, and bribe them with pricey gifts, expensive perfumes, jewelry, etc. The girls, most of whom as I’ve said are of weak character, fall pray to the charms of this men, and do not realize this is a honey trap”.
