Billionaire Sheldon Adelson told a group of Jewish youth visiting Israel as part of the Taglit Birthright project that the Palestinians are an “invented people”. Adelson was addressing a Hanukkah candle lighting ceremony which was also attended by Minister of Information and Diaspora, MK Yuli Edelstein (Yisrael Beitenu).

The government will allocate land in Jerusalem for the Shalem Institute, in the old Nature Museum compound in historic German Colony. The Shalem Institute has connections to PM Netanyahu.
