The Beer-Sheva Zoo was open for the Haredi public only on Wednesday.  Secular visitors who complained of this discrimination were eventually allowed in the zoo, but only if modestly attired. (Ynetnews)

Two bus drivers – one on the 402 bus line from Bnei-Brak to Jerusalem, the other on the 354 bus line from Ramat-Gan to Ashdod – refused to allow secular activists to board their gender segregated buses as part of protest against exclusion of women and gender segregation.  The driver of the 402 line even threatened to break the activists’ cameras.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is considering splitting Beit Shemesh into two municipalities – secular and Haredi, following the wave of tensions engulfing the city in the past few days.
