Settlers from Yitzhar assaulted Palestinians from the village of Urif and uprooted olive trees on the outskirts of the village, taking advantage of the harsh weather conditions which hampered the access of security forces to the area.  A similar incident occurred near the outpost Esh Kodesh, whose residents assaulted the Palestinian residents of Qusra. District court justice Rivka Friedman-Feldman criticized a decision by the Jerusalem Magistrate’s Court to extend the detention of two residents of the outpost Esh Kodesh by 3 days.  Magistrate’s Court Justice Tamar Ben-Asher Tsaban decided to hold the deliberation in the matter even though the detainee’s attorney was not present and without offering the accused a public attorney.

Palestinians from the village of Qusra, near the outpost Esh-Kodesh, claim that during the night Jews stoned houses on the edge of the village and caused damage to property.   In addition they claim that 180 olive trees were uprooted in the village. (Mondoweiss)

Residents of Bir Zeit discovered Hebrew-language graffiti on the walls of the Amir Hassan mosque in the town and on one wall of Bir Zeit University. Some of the graffiti read “Muhammad is a pig” and included calls for the killing of Arabs. In addition, Palestinians found olive trees chopped down in the town of Qusra near Nablus.

Palestinians from the village of Qusra, near the hills of Shilo, claim that last night more than 250 olive trees were uprooted from several plots around the village, apparently by Jewish settlers.
