The Haifa Municipality dismantled protest tents located next to a synagogue headed by the Minister of Science, Daniel Hershkovitz (Ha’Bait Ha’Yehudi). The protest tents were set up by residents of the outpost of Givat Assaf.

Local Government: August 9, 2011
Tel-Aviv municipality inspectors evacuated tents from the protest camp in Ben-Gurion Avenue in the city, and refused to present a warrant authorizing them to do so, claiming that the camp was illegal, and therefore they were not required to present a warrant.

The municipality of Jerusalem demands (Hebrew) that the protest tent of the residents of Al Bustan neighborhood, in Silwan in eastern Jerusalem, be evicted. The court has permitted the owners to delay the demolishing of the tent until June 2011, but the municipality now went to court again, asking that the delaying order be cancelled.
