Yigal Amir, who assassinated prime minister Yitzchak Rabin, said in a court hearing about the extension of his solitary confinement, that he and his brother Haggai are th only prisoners in Israel who are being held in solitary confinement for such a long time. He said that “the Shabak claim that there is intelligence, but they simultaneously claim that they have not received any intelligence since 2003. My brother and I have been in solitary confinement for 15 years, and are the only ones in Israel [to be confined in that way].”
