Policemen parked their car on the sidewalk as they were sitting in a café near the Hebrew University Mt. Scopus campus in Jerusalem. In answer to a comment by a student they said “we are cops and we can do whatever we want”.

The no. 451 bus from Ashdod to Jerusalem was stopped by ultra-orthodox men because a woman was seated in the front seat of the bus. A police officer who arrived at the scene asked the woman, Tanya Rosenblit, to respect the wishes of the other passengers and sit in the back of the bus.

The Nazareth Magistrates Court extended the detention of a police officer from the north, who was arrested on suspicion of contracting criminal elements to kill his girlfriend’s ex-husband.
