The Prime Minister’s Office demanded that Prof. Rivka Feldhay, a faculty member of Tel Aviv University, cancel her participation in a meeting between German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Netanayhu with academics in Berlin, because of her political views and criticism of government policy. (Haaretz)

The Prime Minister’s Office will allocate up to 4.9 million shekels to commemorate the memory and legacy of former minister Rehavam Ze’evi (Gandhi).  The funds will be added to the 2.5 million shekels which the PMO and Tourism Ministry have already earmarked to commemorate Ze’evi in 2012 and 2013 in a project at the Sha’ar Hagai caravansary on the road to Jerusalem.
