According to a report conducted by the Arab Center for Alternative Planning and the ‘Bimkom’ association, the Israeli planning institutes discriminate against Arab communities (compared to Jewish ones) in terms of planning and construction scope.

Judiciary: November 20, 2011
The High Court of Justice approved a construction plan that would legalize illegal construction in the settlement of Talmon in Judea and Samaria. The Justices stated that since the construction plan is much more comprehensive than the simple legalization of a specific building, there is no call for not approving it.

Political: June 14, 2011
District Planning and Construction Committee of the Jerusalem District will hold a session this morning regarding expediting construction in East Jerusalem. According to the plan, close to 12,000 units shall be built in Pisgat Ze’ev, Har Homa and Gilo, located outside of the Green Line.
