Intelligence squad officers at the police central district have lodged a complaint against Nurit Bargig, a policewoman responsible for organizing volunteer workers at the Petach Tikva station, whose husband has been convicted of running illegal casinos twice. According to the complaint, it is inadmissible that she continue to serve while her husband is under police surveillance.

Of the 160 children of Ethiopian descent whose parents refused to send to an Ethiopians-only school in Petach Tikva, only 20 pupils have been accepted so far to the education system. Some children were sent to study in schools outside of the city.
