Border Police officers unleashed a dog at Ahmad Shattawi, a protester in the village of Kadum.  The dog bit Shattawi’s arm for several minutes and lightly injured him.  Another demonstrator, Murrad Shattawi, asked to speak to one of the officers so that he would assist in releasing the dog’s grip on Ahmad’s arm, but the officers pepper-sprayed and arrested him.  The IDF spokesperson stated that the demonstrators rolled burning tires and hurled stones at the security forces, and the arrested Palestinian assaulted them.
