The Kastina Military Court convicted an IDF officer who served as a commander in an elite unit for stealing 19 military objects and storing them at a friend’s house in Haifa. The officer was convicted for the theft of mortar shells, a bowie knife, a ceramic vest, seven smoke grenades, secret training materials, machine gun, revolver bullets and more. The court sentenced the officer to a month and a half of army community service and two months of probation. He was also demoted to second lieutenant.
