In a conference titled “conclusions from the Holocaust” organized by the “Holocaust Lessons Caucus,” led by National Union MK Michael Ben-Ari, left-wing activists were compared to kapos – Jewish collaborators with the Nazis, and anarchists were described as Nazis. In addition to MK Ben-Ari, the discussion was attended by MK Aryeh Eldad (National Union), Yonatan Yosef, speaker of the Jewish settlement in Sheikh Jarrah, David Bedein, and Rabbi Yisrael Ariel, head of the Temple Institute.

At a Holocaust Remembrance Day ceremony in Kiryat Motzkin, the city’s chief Ashkenazi Rabbi, David Meir Druckman, referred to the Palestinian people and their leader Abu Mazen (Mahmoud Abbas), as “Nazis among us”.

Actor and screenwriter Asaf Harel said in an interview that he would like to be able to boycott Ariel on television, too. He says that “our audience does not exactly live in the settlements.
