Three airlines, under pressure from Israel, canceled the reservations of at least 100 known activists planning to fly to Israel for a pro-Palestinian protest. In addition, a Swedish tourist trying to enter Israel was made to sign an official document of the immigration office promising she would not contact “pro-Palestinian” organisations, under threat of deportation.

Keita, a refugee from the Ivory Coast, was arrested after entering Israel and jailed for three years during which the National Immigration Authority at the Ministry of Interior refused to let him see a lawyer or appear before a judge. This, despite the fact Israel had been obliged to provide him shelter.
