The ‘Stability Initiative’ presented by Naftali Bennett, Chairman of the Habayit Hayehudi (Jewish Home) party, proposes annexing Area C and giving Israeli citizenship to nearly 50,000 Palestinians living there, while in fact the Palestinian population amounts to almost 150,000 people. A letter attacking “HaBait HaYehudi” leadership candidate, Naftali Bennett, was sent to all of the party’s members.  MK Zvulon Orlev has admitted to sending the letter and appologized for it, though the admission and appology were issued only after the party’s election commission threatened that if Orlev did not admit to his involvement it would publish material in its possession linking his staff to the letter.
