According to a Palestinian from the village of Nabi Saleh, he was attacked by settlers following his arrest in the weekly demonstration in the village, while soldiers who were nearby did not intervene.  The Popular Committee spokesman, Jonathan Pollak, said that the soldiers continued to fire gas canisters directly at protesters, despite the killing of Mustafa Tamimi only last week from a gas canister directly aimed at him.
