During an acrobatics performance in Modi’in a woman who volunteered to participate went on stage. On the request of Haredi crowd members the woman was removed from the stage after a short while and only men were asked on stage thereafter. (Haaretz)

A Palestinian worker in a reception hall in the Modi’in area was beaten with a plank by a guest who thought he saw the worker speaking with a Jewish female guest. The assaulted worker sustained injuries and hemorrhages.

The city of Modi’in will only allow residents of the city to enter the park during the Sukkot holiday events. The goal of this restriction is to prevent the ultra-Orthodox residents of nearby Modi’in-Illit from entering the park.
