Salah Amarin, A 15-year-old Palestinian, was critically injured by IDF fire in A’ida refugee camp near Bethlehem. The boy, a resident of nearby refugee camp Al ‘Aza, was shot in the head and transferred to hospital.
During the Labour Party primaries, candidates allegedly expolited teens as campaign helpers, forcing them to work for more than 12 hours, in violation of labour laws for minors. (Haaretz)

State Comptroller’s report points to the continued failure of circulating vital information regarding the search for children and adolescents who have been victims of abuse, and regarding protecting them, despite a decision of a Ministerial Committee on this issue.
Palestinians claim that Jews sprayed pepper spray at two Palestinian children near the settlement Alon Shvut on Tuesday. This is probably a “price tag” attack following the demolition of three houses in the Bat Ayin settlement last week.
A 15.5-years-old Palestinian of Issawiya, who was arrested by Jerusalem police on May 15, was taken shortly after his arrest to Hadassah Hospital. The boy suffered a skull fracture, abdominal rupture and serious injuries in his legs and arms. The boy said he was beaten by the police officers who caught him, which was confirmed by eyewitnesses. Police say he was hit by one shot of a paintball, and then he fell down and was hurt. The minor’s parents received information about his whereabouts only after 26 hours.
Seven children, aged one to three and a half, have been arrested in two days, along with their mothers, by Unit Oz inspectors. They were taken to the entry-denied facility in Ben-Gurion airport.
The NGO “Honenu” reported that Petah-Tikva Magistrates Court judge, Oshrit Rotkopf, scolded the police for failing to notify the parents of three minors about their arrest in the illegal settlement Shvut Ami.
According to Palestinian reports, an 11 year old boy was arrested on Saturday in the village of Qatanna, north of Jerusalem.
Some three months ago in the West Bank village of Nabi Salih, “A.D.” a 14-year-old Palestinian, was arrested in the middle of the night and interrogated about a demonstration in which he took part. The minor’s parents were not present and he did not have a possibility of consulting an attorney.
