Minister of Transportation, Yisrael Katz, is promoting (Haaretz) a plan for the establishment of 475 km of rail lines in the West Bank in areas A and B, despite the expected opposition of the Palestinians to the plan.

The new cultural hall being constructed in Ariel, which in the Samaria region of the Occupied Territories, will run productions purchased from the theaters of Beer Sheva, Habima, Hakameri, and HaKhan. The Ometz Lesarev movement called upon theater administrators not to perform in Ariel: “it is not what cultured people do, to perform to an audience who, due to their place of residence, cause millions of people to suffer a repressive military administration that denies them human dignity, freedom of movement and basic human rights – before even discussion the denial of their own ability to maintain any kind of cultural and spiritual life of their own.”

Dozens of Palestinians threw rocks and Molotov cocktails at Border Guard forces in the Silwan neighborhood of East Jerusalem. They stated that disputes began after Jewish settlers in the neighborhood tried to enter the mosque near the Silwan Spring with their faces covered.

The Israeli Train Company invested three million NIS in planning a rail line between Rosh Haayin and Nablus, as part of the vision of Minister of Transportation Israel Katz to form a railroad that would cross the Occupied Territories in the regions known as “Judea” and “Samaria”.
