MK Faina Kirshenbaum (Yisrael Beitenu) tabled a motion to create a parliamentary investigation committee to “ascertain the part of Israeli organizations in the de-legitimization crusade against the IDF soldiers and commanders, and the ways these organizations are financed.” The Im Tirzu movement approved: “We hope the investigative committee wlll manage to track down the vast financial sources of these organizations, and find out whether numerous Israeli organizations act as front organizations and agents of influence of hostile bodies”. Four residents of Tamra are suspected of having abducted and beaten a member of their family, because he is gay. The young man was held for 12 hours in one of the homes in the village, and thoroughly beaten. According to Chief Superintendant Miri Peled, Investigative Officer of the Yiftach district, “the family had a hard time accepting the young man’s lifetyle, and they wanted to distance him from it by way of threatening and beating him.”

Several students have started a Facebook group, currently followed by 1,000 people, which calls for a boycott of “pro-Palestinian” lecturers. The group’s information page wrote that they expected the lecturers “at the very least” not to express their political opinion and then go into classes.

The Israeli embassy in the Czech Republic removed its support from a documentary about a Holocaust survivor because the woman about whom the movie was made converted to Christianity and married a German soldier. According to sources in the embassy, the movie promotes mixed marriages, is immoral, and is controversial
