Yigal Gozland, an Ashdod Port worker who was convicted of arson and sentenced to seven years in prison, was defined by the port management as being on leave without pay, so that his position and rights would wait for him upon his release.

The chairman of the Central Elections Committee, Justice Elyakim Rubinstein, warned MK Haim Katz (Likud), who is also  the chairman of Israel Aerospace Industries’ Labour Union, against using the resources of IAI for his Likud primaries campaign.

Furthermore, a special ballot box was placed in Moshav Hadid, for IAI employees to vote in the primaries during their workday, with ushers distributing lists of favored candidates.
