During a Knesset Internal Affairs Committee session, the Knesset’s legal adviser, Eyal Yinon, criticized the government’s new Prevention of Infiltration Law, and said that the bill is “exceptional by any standard.” According to the proposed law, infiltrators could be arrested for more than three years, instead of the current 60 days limit.
Member of Knesset Danny Danon (Likud) said in a meeting of the Knesset Internal Affairs Committee, dedicated to water supply to the Arab-Israeli village of Jisr al Zarqa, that Israeli Arabs are the biggest problem of the State of Israel.
