The State and settler representatives have reached an agreement about the Ramat Gilad outpost. According to the agreement, five temporary structures and additional warehouses will be relocated from private land to a different part of the outpost, and a city building plan will be approved in the future in order to allow the outpost to become part of the Karnei Shomron settlement as a separate neighborhood.

Settlers from Karnei Shomron blocked the entrance to the nearby Kafr Laqif, by means of boulders placed on the entry road into the village. Afterwards, they marched on to the nearby village of Azzun. The marchers were blocked off by police and military forces that arrived to the location. At the same time, a convoy of vehicles from Karnei Shomron headed toward Azzun. Stone throwing fights broke out between the passengers of the convoy and Palestinian residents of Azzun.
Approximately 40 settlers from Itamar arrive to the village of Awarta and started throwing stones at houses in the village. Tens of windows and vehicle windshields were smashed.

Following the dismantling of the Havat Gilad outpost yesterday (Monday), a wave of protest activity took place: settlers blocked roads in Jerusalem and across the West Bank; a molotov cocktail caused a house fire in the village of Huwara; near the settlement of Karnei Shomron, settlers threw stones towards Palestinian vehicles and clashed with security forces; posters were hung across Judea and Samaria calling for a “day of rage” on Thursday; right-wing sources indicate “Price Tag” actions will be escalated, and that plans are underway to target a mosque in Samaria.
